1/2 cup chopped onion
2 tbs. margerine
1 can (10 1/2 oz.) cream of mushroom soup
1 soup can milk
2 soup cans Water
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
dash of curry powder (about 1/16 tsp)
4 cups uncooked wide egg noodles
1 can tuna (10 0z) well drained
1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese
In a large pot, saute onion in margerine until soft. Add next 6 ingredients. Bring to boil. Add egg noodles and boil gently until tender, about 10 minutes, stirring often. Add tuna and cheese. Stir until cheese is melted. Turn off heat and let stand on burner for about 10 minutes before serving.
Makes four or fiver dinners to last you through a week of lonely nights.
